ENGLISH SHORT CUT TRICK TO CHOOSE WRONG PART IN SENTENCES ☃☃☃☃☃☃☃☃☃☃


1.       After Preposition always use Verb 1st form + ing.
2.       Do not use any preposition with HOME or HOUSE if these words are mentioned- GO, BRING, GET, REACH, ARRIVE etc.
3.       When two words are added with any conjunction then clarify them with their respective prepositions.
4.       Do not use ON, IN, AT before TODAY, TOMORROW, THE PREVIOUS DAY, YESTERDAY, THE LAST DAY etc.
5.       Use TO with the following words- SAY, SUGGEST, PROPOSE, SPEAK, REPLY, EXPLAIN, COMPLAIN, TALK, LISTEN, WRITE etc.
6.       Do not use preposition with these words in active voice- DISCUSS, ORDER RESIST, EMPHASIS, STRESS, INVESTIGATE, ACCOMPANY, REGISN, TELL, ATTACH etc.
The Precautions to use prepositions are as follows:
PREPOSITION 1: AND BETWEEN
·         AND is used with BETWEEN. Do not use TO with BETWEEN.
PREPOSITION 2: ABOVE UNDER BENEATH LOWER
·         ABOVE & UNDER can be used for Vertical Positions.
·         ABOVE can be used for more than in number or quantity.
·         ABOVE is used to show very high but not vertical.
·         When BENEATH & UNDER both are given as option in a question, Then choose UNDER always as right option as answer.
·         BELOW is used to show lower than.
PREPOSITION 3: BY OFF THROUGH ACROSS
·         BY is used to show closeness to any object.
·         BY is also used for telling a prescribed time or a till a prescribed time.
·         BY is also used for means of Transportation.
·         OFF is used to show separation or
·         WITH is used for instrumentation and tools in touching position or show nearness in a sentence.
·         THROUGH is used for showing / crossing way / passing through from one side to another side
·         ACROSS is used to show opposite side of any path/object/anything.
PREPOSITION 3: AT IN ON
·         AT is used for small city, precise time, point of time.
·         IN is used for calendar months, years etc. It is also used for enclosed space, existing state of things.
·         ON is used for Days, Dates, surfaces, movement.
